AMORPHIS: PROVINSSIROCK Performance To Air On Finnish TV

AMORPHIS' performance at this year's Provinssirock festival in Finland will be broadcast on Yle TV2 on December 3. A repeat airing is scheduled for December 6.

Following their appearance at Helldone Festival on December 30 at Helsinki's Tavastia Club, AMORPHIS will head up north to Oulu, Finland for a New Year's Eve party at Club Teatria. Other bands scheduled to appear at Helldone include H.I.M., CATHEDRAL, ANATHEMA, DIABLO, KATATONIA, BLAKE, 45 DEGREE WOMAN and SARA.

AMORPHIS has been confirmed for next year's installment of the Wacken Open Air festival, set to take place August 2-4, 2007 in Wacken, Germany.

AMORPHIS' latest album, "Eclipse", was issued in a limited vinyl edition in a deluxe gatefold sleeve by Black Lodge Records under worldwide license from Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Far from the Sun" was recorded at Sonic Pump studios in Helsinki with engineer Nino Laurenne (THUNDERSTONE). The production duties were handled by the band and Marco Hietala (NIGHTWISH) for vocals. The mixing was taken care of by Mikko Karmila (who previously worked with the group on their "Am Universum" CD) at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki.
